I need a door lock replacement for 1997 featherlight horse trailer. Will the Baurer models work and fit? Thanks

In order to find a suitable replacement latch for your horse trailer you need to remove the old latch and measure the cutout as that's then going to tell you a compatible replacement. The Bauer Products Manger Door Lock for Horse Trailers part # BA55FR is possibly a solution. It fits a cutout of 2-3/4" wide x 3-3/4" tall. It's unlikely you'll find an exact match so you may very well need to modify the opening to make a latch work.

I have attached a full list of our other entry door latches if the above is not a match. Unfortunately, it's not really possibly to look up a latch for this trailer using the make/model.
