my rv fresh water tank leaks when I fill it. Is it possible I have an over fill Drain/valve on top of tank?

The water leaking is normal its your overflow which means that your fresh tank is now full. If you install a valve on the overflow then it needs to be open when filling and when using or else the tank could explode. It could also be that your check valve went bad. The Valterra Check Valve for RV Fresh Water Systems # P23415LFVP has dual 1/2 inch MPT. The Valterra Check Valve for RV Fresh Water Systems # P23402LFVP has a 1/2 inch MPT x 1/2 inch FPT.
