Which wire do you hook up for the red wire coming from the breakaway battery box on the plug ?

In regards to the Bright Way Push-to-Test Trailer Breakaway Kit with 1-Amp Charger and 5 Ah Battery part # 3802308, the red wire from the breakaway battery box goes to the battery charge line circuit also known as the twelve volt power supply on the trailer. This wire can be a few different colors depending on what the trailer manufacturer or just simply the last person who wired the trailer used, I can't say for sure but it's usually a black wire. The best way to find out which it is would be to just find the circuit on the back of the trailer connector using the photo below. It's in the two o'clock position when looking at the connector from the rear.
