Question:

This particular Furion, Model #FMCM15-SS is not heating up at all in spite of it appearing to be on when all buttons are pressed for microwaving or using the convection feature. My question to you is, what other microwave brands convection feature not necessarily included may I purchase and install to replace this defective Furion in my 2020 fifth wheel? Based on reading users reviews of this particular model, their experience indicates this particular model does not have a working longevity life beyond 6-18 months. Thank you for your advice regarding this matter.

If you're wanting to get away from the Furrion Over the Range RV Convection Microwave # FMCM15SS then I recommend checking out the Greystone Over the Range RV Microwave # 324-000135 instead.

This is a standard microwave so you don't get that convection feature but it's about the same size and is designed to install over a range just like the Furrion that you currently have.

Your Furrion measures 29-15/16" wide x 16-3/8" tall x 15" deep overall while the Greystone measures 29-7/8" wide x 16-7/8" tall x 18-3/16" deep overall so as long as you are able to accommodate the slightly larger size I think you'll be really happy with the Greystone option.
