How to Choose Correct GlowStep System for Varying Ground Height Situations

Question:

We do a lot of dispersed camping that puts us on uneven ground. Sometimes we park where our current three step model will have the bottom step almost touching the ground. The last place we parked we had to add a step stool at the bottom to create a fourth step. How would these steps accommodate changes like this? Can a three step be extended steeper to reach the ground would a 4 step be able to be used semi-folded so that it would be like a 3 step when that’s all that’s needed?

There is some adjustability for the steps. For example, the 3-step TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Scissor Steps w/ Landing Gear # TLA7833 you're looking at is designed for an entry height of 23-1/2" - 34-1/2" but for a 4-Step Version, part # TLA7834, it works with an entry height of 31" - 42".

These steps are essentially the same aside from the height they are meant to fit with. What I recommend doing is try determining what height ranges best suits your needs and go from there. If the height of your entryway matches with the 3-Step setup then I recommend going with that system and then getting the Leg Extensions # TL47VR which add an additional 6-9/16" with the push of a button.
