Will Xtreme Off-Road Ratcheting Jack # ARK54FR Work For A 8 Degree Slope?
Question:
We are purchasing a tear trailer that weighs 1,900 pounds dry weight. This includes our upgraded items and a full water tank. The total weight with all of our gear will likely add another 200 to 300 pounds. The trailer is a Colorado Tears Mt. Massive. My question: If we purchase the ARK54FR trailer jack, will the ratcheting mechanism work on an 8 percent sloping concrete driveway? In other words, will it hold the trailer in position with each push of the rachet?

The Xtreme Off-Road Ratcheting Trailer Jack w/ Dual Wheels # ARK54FR will hold in place when pushing up the slope. If you're going down the slope the mechanism will not hold it is place, as the wheel is designed to free spin in the direction of the trailer.
Mainly the jack is recommended to be used on a level surface only.
