Question:
Hello, Im curious what the stowed smallest length would be for the Ark ratcheting tongue jack, item ORJW1SU. The video at the 8:00 minute mark states the length is 28, however, in one of the QandAs the responding store associate states the length is only 21.25inch tall. Can you clarify the stowed length for the single wheeled Ark ratcheting tongue jack, please. Thanks

Expert Reply:
The collapsed height of the Extreme Off-Road Ratcheting Trailer Jack w/ Wheel # ORJW1SU is 28-5/8" from the base of the wheel to the top of the jack tube.
The tallest measurement of the jack when fully extended is 31-15/16" from the center of the jack mount to the bottom of the wheel, or 38-7/16" from the base of the wheel to the top of the jack tube.
The maximum height of the jack when moving the trailer should be no taller than 24-3/8" from the center of the mounting bracket to the base of the wheel.

Bud, Your image shows minimum and maximum jack stand length using only the drop down handle mechanism. That is useful for determining mounting clearance on the trailer when towing. What are the minimum and maximum lengths (using screw crank handle) at highest and lowest drop-down settings in vertical use mode (i.e with it holding up to gue of trailer)? Pls measure from lower jack bracket mounting holes to bottom of jack wheel. This will tell me my absolute minimum and maximum lenghts above the ground to where I would attach the jack stand. Thanks! - Dave
