Required Mounting Depth For Mighty Cord 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness On 2020 GMC Sierra 2500HD

Question:

I have a 2020 GMC Sierra 2500hd and a Lance camper. I need a 7 way connection at the left front of the bed to connect the camper. What is the mounting depth required for the socket? Do you have any other recommendations for this setup?

The Mighty Cord 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness # A10-7010 requires 3-1/2" of clearance behind the mounting flange of the 7-way connector. This measurement includes the wiring connector for the 7-way connection. This will be your best solution as the other harness have similar connections and the magnetic EZ connectors require more clearance as the wiring does not 90 degree from the back of the connector like the Mighty Cord.
