Is Curt 2 to 3 Wire Tail Light Converter Waterproof

Is the curt 56196 waterproof? I wired it and mounted it on the Inside u channel of my 20 foot utility trailer. It may get rain water and road splash. Should it be sealed with flex seal or liquid wire tape?

It is a good diea to seal the connections with Liquid Electrical Tape # SWC50122.
