Is There Longer Safety Chains Available For The Convert-A-Ball 5th Wheel-To-Gooseneck-Adapter?

Question:

Havent verified yet, but dont believe that these chains are long enough to reach from the CAB-C5G to the loops on a 2017 Ram 3500 with factory setup. If not, what do you recommend?

I went ahead and reached out to Convert-A-Ball, and they informed me that the chain:

- Replacement Safety Chain for Convert-A-Ball 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB64FR that you mention measures 24" from the shackle to the end of the hook.

They did go onto mention that since you have the puck system, you might need to use a log chain with clip # DU59MR as the standard S hook may not go around the puck.

The only issue is that if a ball-disconnect issue occurs, there is a chance that the Gooseneck hitch will blow out your tailgate due to the added length of the log chains # DU59MR.
