Are there any adapters that allow installation of guide posts on a ranger trailer for the Rt188P

Yes, there are. To attach the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons item # CE27760 to your Ranger Trailer RT118P you will want to use the included hardware that comes with the Guide-Ons. We had a customer mount these guide-ons on the same trailer and I attached a picture of them below. If you look at the image of them installed you can see that they did use the included hardware by drilling holes in the steel that would allow the bolts to pass through. He used the CE Smith Guide-On Mounting U-Bracket item # CES94FR to identify the location where the bolts would need to pass through. This part is included with the Guide-Ons item # CE27760 I just wanted to point them out specifically.
