Question:

Good afternoon, Recently I was asked to fabricate new running boards for my grandmothers 2008 ford Ranger. The mounting brackets are still in great shape, I just do not know the dimensions of the holes that are on the lower plate where the bolts would go through into the running board. Unfortunately its almost 4 hour drive to her house so I am attempting to drill the holes in my shop. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time

The Custom Installation Kit # 22-1455 for the Westin Oval Tube Steps # W54HR has a measurement of 1-1/2" from the center of the front to center of the back holes on the bracket. The driver to passenger side holes are 1-1/16" on center and from the top edge of the curved bracket to the center of the closest holes is 2".

We do carry the Westin Oval Tube Steps # 22-5055 individually that you can use as well.
