Question:
I read on various forums that I need to pull the rear wiper fuse on my 2019 Equinox. This makes no sense to me. Does this circuit really pull enough power to discharge the battery while I am dinghy towing the car, even with a power line from the RV? If so, does this bypass switch solve the problem? Please explain.

According to the owner's manual for your 2019 Chevy Equinox there will be a power draw while you're flat towing so it calls for charging the battery during travel. This can be accomplished by using a wiring kit like the Roadmaster # RM26FR and then adding the Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 so power from your motorhome will charge the battery.
It's entirely possible that removing the fuse for the rear wiper will keep the battery from being drained but that's not something we've looked into as we just go by what the manual states.
Whenever you put a vehicle in "tow" mode it changes some of how the vehicle operates which is why this is possible. If you want to try going that route then installing the Blue Ox Fuse Bypass # BX88272 would make it easier to disable that fuse position instead of manually pulling and replacing it each time you tow.
Attached are some videos for you to check out. For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know and I can make some additional recommendations for you.
