Question:
Im interested in the Dexter dx7.5 hitch, #DEX94FR. It will replace my atwood 61101 surge brake actuator. Can you get one of these with the 3 mounting holes that come on the zinc actuator number DX33FR. I like the steel instead of zinc. I want to paint the outside to match my trailer. Thank you

Expert Reply:
There is not because the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator - Primed # DEX94FR is a weld-on actuator, and those are the only ones that are primed to be painted.
Bolt-on actuators do come with zinc plating and are not primed for being painted, including the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator - Bolt On - Drum - 2" Ball - Zinc - 7,500 lbs # DX33FR.
