Question:
I have a 2022 Renegade Valencia and going to flat tow a 2020 Ford Ranger 4x4. Can you send me a list of what I will need to do this. I want to tap into my RVs air system for brakes on the tow

For a complete flat towing setup on your 2020 Ford Ranger you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. Here are the parts I recommend using:
Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - # RM-524459-5
Nighthawk All Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights - # RM-676 (comes with safety cables)
Towing Combo Kit - # RM-9284-2
Brake-Lite Relay Kit - # RM-88400
Air Force One Supplemental Braking System - # DM26VR
High-Low Adapter - See attached article (bar-mounted height is 16" according to Roadmaster)
I really like the Direct-Connect base plate kit paired with the Nighthawk All Terrain and Towing Combo Kit because it's easy to connect, looks very sleek, let's other drivers know you're flat towing the vehicle with the LED lights on the tow bar, and gets you locks and a cover for the tow bar.
For the braking system you can't get any better than the Air Force One which utilizes your motorhome air brake system and remains installed but out of the way when you aren't towing. the brake-light kit ensures your brakes lights work correctly on the road.
The high-low adapter may or may not be needed which is why I linked our help article on that as well as multiple install videos so you get an idea of what is entailed with these different parts. The only other thing I might toss in is the Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screening # RM-4750 which isn't necessary but it's designed to help prevent road debris from kicking up behind your motorhome and hitting your Ranger.
