Recommended Replacement Water Heater For An Atwood GC6AA-9E

Question:

Like to replace my Atwood GC6AA-9E..i understand atwood dont make any more. What model of dometic should i consider? My heater has 3 wires..and what is wiring of demotic that has wh,red,blue,grn wires connect up to. Thanks for your help.

For your Atwood GC6AA-9E, I recommend going with the:

-Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR.

This water heater has a 10,000 BTU heating capacity, a 6 gallon tank capacity, and also has a high-temperature limit switch that automatically shuts off unit to prevent overheating.

As far as installation goes, you will need to have this preformed by a qualified installer, service agency, or gas supplier.
