Question:

Do any of the Yakima roof rack bike mount options work with kids bikes? I have a 16inch wheel bike and soon to be 20 inch wheel bike. Vehicle is a 2018 Subaru WRX sedan.

As far as Yakima racks that work with 16" and 20" wheels, the best and only option is the fork-mounted Yakima HighSpeed # Y02115. With this rack, I confirmed with Yakima that it does not require a minimum or maximum wheel diameter as long as the bike's tires do not exceed 5" wide and the bike's wheelbase does not exceed 48". As far as compatibility with the kid's bike, it is compatible with 9 mm x 100 mm, 12 mm x 100 mm, 15 mm x 100 mm, 15 mm x 110 mm, 15 mm x 135 mm, 15 mm x 142 mm, 15 mm x 150 mm, and 20 mm x 110 mm axles.

If you already have crossbars on your 2018 Subaru WRX, I recommend measuring the height and width of your crossbars to make sure the HighSpeed can clamp around your bars. As long as the bars do not exceed 3-1/8" wide x 1" tall, you are good to go!
