2022 Winnebago Solis 59PX Fitment With Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack

Question:

You are the only site I can find that information about my Winnebago Solis 59PX. I see that another customer had The Thule XT door bike rack installed on a 2020 version of this camper van and it worked fine. I want to know if it will work with mine as well. 1. Van Door Width Each Door is about 33 inch wide. Probably the key factor. 2. Van Door Height: A total of about 74 inch from top to bottom. Top of door to top of window about 13 Top of door to bottom of window is about 39-1/2 Pictures added. Thank you

It looks like your Winnebago Solis 59PX is built on a Ram ProMaster chassis which the Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack # TH302013 is designed to fit.

Just to give you a little reassurance about fitment the brackets measure 32-5/8" long and Thule calls for them to be spaced about 46-1/2" apart from top to bottom which looks like it will clear the dimensions of your doors (thank you for providing that by the way).

I have a spare tire mounted on the left door. I understand the bike trays have 3 positions. What are the heights above bottom of the door. Want to know which position would clear the top of my spare. Thank you, Rich

@RichF I was able to get measurements of where the lowest part of the tray assembly will sit in relation to the lower mounting rail for the Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack # TH302013: - 9" in lowest position - 16" in middle position - 25-1/2" in highest position You can refer to the overall rail distance I referenced in the initial answer and then use the measurements I just listed out to see if you'll have spare tire clearance or not.

@JonG thanks for the info,. One other question, the top and bottom rails attach to door with side clips and you apply a structural/epoxy adhesive to the back of the rails or drill holes to secure to door. Correct? Thanks again Rich

@RichF It secures with adhesive, and then there are clips that hug the door which help to keep the rails in place as well. I'm not seeing anything in the Thule instructions about drilling into the door as a way to mount the bike rack.
