How To Lower A Trailer With Leaf Springs

Question:

I have a single axle trailer and I’m needing to lower the trailer 2-2.5 inches. I was wondering if lowering the front hangars 2-2.5” would correctly lower it? There’s plenty of length on the fronts to make the adjustments. Would I need to change the rear shackle lengths in conjunction with that? Or is there a better way to change the height without doing an over-under conversion?
