How to Remove the Motor From a Ventline Fan

I have a ventine and the fan will not stay in place. How do I remove the moter

The process may differ depending on your exact model of Ventline Fan, but you will first need to gain access to the motor which will likely require you to go in to the assembly from the top/roof. You will then remove the dome/lid or screen which will allow you to pull the fan blade off the motor shaft. You can then remove the old/existing motor from the bracket, cutting the black and white wires as closely to the current motor terminals as possible.

With the motor removed it's just a matter of reversing the steps for installing the replacement like the Replacement Fan Motor for Ventline Exhaust Fan # BCD0390-00 which fits Ventline models V2045, V2065, V2244, and V2265.
