How do you remove just the fan motor for replacement

Expert Reply:
The process may differ a bit depending on your exact model Ventline Fan but you will first need to gain access to the motor which likely will require you to go in to the assembly from the top/roof. You will then remove the dome/lid or screen which will allow you to pull the fan blade off the motor shaft. You can then remove the old/existing moter from the bracket, cutting the black and white wires as closely to the current motor terminals as possible.
With the motor removed it's just a matter of reversing the steps for installing the replacement like part # BVD0218-00.
