For a direct replacement fan motor on your V2280-50 Ventline you need the Replacement 110-Volt AC Fan Motor # BCD0314-00.

If you'd like to upgrade to a little more power you can use the Impeller Wheel # VC0359-00 and the Motor # VC0369-00 which gives you a 75 CFM system instead of the 50 CMF that you currently have.

@MichaelJ That's unfortunately something that's not available as a replacement piece, but you might be able to take it in to your local hardware/home improvement store to see if they have something similar that you can use to get your roof vent back up and running.

@JonG What scam. It's like a five$ part and there is no way to get one with out spending over 100$ to get one

@Dan I completely understand where you're coming from. We're just at the mercy of what Dometic/Ventline decides to carry when it comes to replacement parts.

I just need the fan housing. it snaps into the main housing. Mine broke. I dont want to buy a whole thing just for one little part of it.

@Dan I'm not finding that part as being replaceable. What I recommend doing is seeing if someone is trying to sell their old Ventline so you can just grab that piece out of it instead of having to purchase a brand new vent.

Is the 75 cfm the same size as the 50 cfm if I decide to upgrade? Curious how much additional space I'll need for a 75 instead of a 50.

@Laura I don't know the size comparison, but it will sit in the same location as the 50, so extra space won't be an issue.

@JonG One more question: My modular is a 2010 and this fan is in my bathroom, hooked up with DC. One of the wires has an end on it like a washer that you unscrew a screw on the motor and it goes on there. There's also a plastic frame with a couple legs the motor fits it but my frame is broke so my motor doesn't stay put. I don't find a new frame anywhere.

@Laura In that case, you're likely looking at a new vent. I see you picked up the Ventline Breeze LED 360 Bathroom Vent w/ 120V AC Fan # VE86FR - did you get this to replace your old vent?
