hi got a 2017 chevy 2500 got the puck system prep package in the truck will the puck style legs work with the 6.5 box instead of rails or a slider

The puck system layout for the 6-1/2' and 8' beds on a 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 are the same so you can use the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16064 for your short bed truck.
Please note your 5th wheel trailer needs a V-Nose for you to be able to make tight turns without hitting your truck cab.
