Question:
I was looking for a platform based hitch bike rack that can fit the length of the EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 Item # 306-X7203 with the receiver length is just within the reach of the muffler if not shorter when the bolt has been placed in the pin hole.

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek that has the EcoHitch # 306-X7203 installed, I recommend taking a look at the Yakima HoldUp 2 Bike Rack # Y02445. This is a really nice, platform-style carrier that features a bit of a longer shank when compared to similar bike racks. When the rack is folded down for use there is a distance of 12 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest wheel holder. When it's folded up against the vehicle for storage this distance is reduced to 7 inches. I recommend taking a measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole on your recessed EcoHitch receiver to the outermost edge of the bumper to ensure that it is less than 7 inches.
This bike rack can handle 2 bikes of up to 60 pounds each, features ratcheting hooks that will hold them by their front wheels without any frame contact, and it comes with cable locks and a hitch lock to secure everything in place. I have attached a short video demonstration on this bike rack that you can also check out.
