Interested in yakima Exo system. I have a Toyota Highlander Hybrid XLE 2021. Will this work and do I need light hookup from hitch. Thanks

As long as you have at least 4-1/4" of space from the center of your hitch pin hole to the rearmost part of your 2021 Toyota Highlander the Yakima EXO Swing Away Enclosed Cargo Carrier # Y62VR will fit perfectly!
I do recommend picking up the License Plate and Tail Light Relocation Kit # Y74VR for a few reasons; it helps illuminate the cargo box so driver's behind you can clearly see the extra length of your vehicle at night, and it also makes upgrading to the TopShelf # Y94VR and other accessories easier since you already have the light kit in place.
If you don't already have a hitch or wiring I recommend picking up the etrailer # e75ZR for a clean-looking hitch with proper clearance and the T-One Wiring from Tekonsha, part # TK74FR if you do have the factory tow package or part # TK99FR if you don't have the factory tow package.
