Tankless hot water heater for RV Does this have to be mounted up right or can it be mounted on its back

The Excel RV Tankless On-Demand Water Heater # EX93FR can not be mounted on its back, and must be mounted upright with the vent facing upwards.
Additionally, this unit can not be installed in a bathroom or a bedroom.
