Question:
I see that this trailer is recommended to support up to a 14foot boat, but logistically it looks like it would be ideal for my 16foot canoe. Can this trailer hold my canoe safely? If not, what trailer like this one would? Thanks in advance!

I have another option for you, but you are correct that the CE Smith Multi Sport Plus Boat and Kayak Trailer w/ Bunks # CE48870 can only handle boats up to 14' long.
You instead would need to use the Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer # MPG464-LB with the Bunk Kit for Malone Trailers # MPG561 which would allow you to carry a boat up to 20' long. Which is plenty of length for your 16' canoe.
