How do you remove the broken mount from the back of the monitor?

To remove the base you'll need to pull the cup mount and monitor in opposite directions until the ball joint pops out of place. Since the ball is broken off in the mount you will need to try and take it out using a pair of pliers. To attach the new cup mount # LC776462 you will just do the same process in reverse.
