Yes, you can use the Solera 18v Power RV Awning - 20' Wide # LC730523 with aluminum siding on your trailer, but there are some things you need to do in order to have the support you need with the self-tapping screws that attach the awning brackets to the outer sidewall of the trailer.

What I recommend is to identify where the awning screws tap into the wall of the trailer. Then, on the inside of the trailer, mark off the location and install a board of plywood at least 3/8" thick x 1 foot wide and bolt the board to the inner wall. After this step, use a wide fender washer against the wood and Loctite the threads/nut. From this point, you can install the awning per Lippert's instructions using the self-tapping screws that come with the # LC730523.

For completing the installation, you also need the Fabric Rail # LC715216 in order to anchor the awning fabric to the trailer.
