Question:

Currently have a 2019 Subaru Forester with a Draw Tite Hitch# 76271. Im going to be getting a 2022 Subaru Forester, either a standard model or the Wilderness version. Id like to have the hitch removed from the 2019 and put on the 2022. I had it installed by my local U-Haul dealer and plan on having him do the removal and re-installation. Any potential problems?

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76271 will fit and work great for your 2022 Subaru Forester whether you have the base model or the Wilderness. The only thing to keep in mind is that you do need new hardware as hitch hardware is only designed to be torqued down once. For replacement hardware we have part # RHK - just change the manufacturer to Draw-Tite and the hitch model to 76271 and we will get you all of the hardware that will be needed for the installation.
