Question:

I searched for a 2013 Subaru Outback wagon/SUV, and all four of the products showed said NOT CONFIRMED TO FIT 2013 Subaru Outback Wagon. Are these hitches guaranteed to fit my vehicle or not?

I will be happy to help you. Not sure what was going on but we have a few hitches that are confirmed to fit your 2013 Subaru Outback Wagon. I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver item # e99YR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your Outback Wagon with included hardware. I have attached a picture below of this hitch installed and linked the installation instructions. We don't have an installation video for this hitch but I did find one of a similar hitch being installed on a 2013 Outback like yours.

If you need a wiring harness to control your trailer or accessory's lighting functions you will want the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118467.

To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
