Is Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Compatible With 2015 Honda Odyssey With Backup Camera

eTrailer provided a video review of the three harness available for the 2015 Honda Odyssey. When describing the Curt harness, the reviewer clearly stated that the Curt harness is NOT compatible with Odysseys that have a back up sensor. But in the QA section for the Curt harness, an expert Conner L stated The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56378 is a fit for a 2012 Honda Odyssey with or without backup cameras or sensors so you wont have any issues. There isnt a version of this harness for models with or without backup cameras or sensors as they will not be affected.inch So, which is it? Can I install the Curt harness in my 15 Odyssey that has a Back Up Camera and will all of the functions of the both the trailer and the car specifically the back up Camera work properly?

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56378 did not have compatibility with a backup camera when the video was made. You can see in that video that it lacks the additional connection with the white wire that it now comes with. This was added later, and will allow you to plug the wiring harness into both connection points on the panel which will allow you to use the backup camera.

That being said, I would recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118521 over the Curt. When it comes to wiring, we have found Tekonsha to be the most reliable. The installation process will be the same as the Curt. Both will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights.
