Question:

I was close to buying the Item # LC158778 for my 5th wheel until I started reading a lot of the questions and answers. Now Im torn between the first one and Item # LC328492 or Item # LC369535. Will all of these fit Pin box model LIPP1621 HD GVRW 18,000? I was seeing conflicting answers with the HD model. My main concern it reducing chucking which if Im reading correctly the LC328492 and LC369535 are a little better. Thanks

Both the Curt # LC158778 and the Curt Flex Air # LC369535 would be compatible with both the Lippert 1621 and 1621 HD OEM pin boxes, as both share the same mounting bolt pattern. The only difference is the higher capacity of the HD model. Both pin boxes will do a great job of isolating the tow vehicle from much of the bouncing, shock and chucking experienced by the 5th wheel, but the # LC369535 Flex Air goes a step further with a dampened pivoting head that helps limit lateral movement or chucking to a greater degree than the standard # LC128778 Trail Air does.

If reducing chucking is your number one priority, the # LC369535 Flex Air would do a better job for you.
