What Are the Extra Holes For on the Replacement Operator Mechanism for MaxxAir MaxxFan

Updated 04/29/2022 | Published 04/26/2022

Question:

Hi Scott, There is definitely not an L bracket involved with the controller. This is the best I can get on the model of my fan: S/N 2018-06-7000K-A00076. Ive attached a photo of the part hastily reassembled. Thanks

The hole on the Replacement Operator Mechanism for MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus or MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vents # MA10-20281K-1AF that you marked can be used. That hole is designed to be used as a mounting point, if your fan requires an "L" bracket for installation. I have included a picture that shows this.

The easiest and best way to find the correct replacement is to look by the model number of your fan. The Replacement Operator Mechanism for MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus or MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vents # MA10-20281K-1AF works for models 4500K - 4900K, 4700N, and 4900N.

If you can provide me with the model number of your fan, I can recommend the correct replacement.
