Troubleshooting MaxxFan Deluxe 7000k Where Lid Won't Lift and Motor Has Been Replaced
Updated 10/14/2020 | Published 10/12/2020 >
Question:
My MaxxFan Deluxe 7000k has a lid that wont lift - I cant turn it manually or powered. The remote turns on the fan and it works fine, reverses, changes speeds, etc. When I turn the fan on/off to try and lift the lid, the motor doesnt budge. I then replaced the lift motor, and it doesnt work either. Thoughts?

Since you've already changed the motor and your vent lid still won't lift, it sounds like the issue is the operator mechanism. You can replace that with the Replacement Operator Mechanism for MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus or MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vents # MA10-20281K-1AF and it will allow your lid to lift again.
