Question:

I have a 2021 Dynamax Isata 5 28SS motor home and flat tow a 2004 Jeep Wrangler. Which supplemental braking system will be best for my application? I dont care if its permanent or portable, and would prefer the simplest install available.

We have everything you need to easily set up your 2004 Jeep Wrangler for flat towing. You are looking at five primary components for a safe flat towing setup; a base plate kit, a tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring, and a supplemental braking system.

- Tow Bar, etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar - 6,000 lbs., # e34ZR (This includes the needed safety cables.)

- Wiring Solution, Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles, # HM56202 along with, Brake-Lite Relay Kit, # RM-88400

- supplemental Braking, Brake Buddy Stealth Supplemental Braking System, # HM39530

The etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit, # e98946 is compatible with all etrailer, Demco, and Blue Ox tow bars plus there are adapters sold separately that allow for use with Roadmaster and Sterling tow bars.

The etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar, # e34ZR is rated for 6K which is more than enough for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler but you prefer, there is the higher rated etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar, # e94ZR rated at 10,500 lbs.
