Im trying to decide between the ORJW750D and the ARK54FR off-road jacks. I have a 20foot sailboat with a gross weight incl. trailer dual axle around 4200 lbs. I would like to use the jack to launch my boat on shallow paved ramps using a line connected to my vehicle. I like the ratcheting feature on the ARK54FR model, but Im worried about its lower capacity compared to the 750D. Question: a Can either of these jacks be used to launch a boat as I intend to? and b Would the ARK54FR be able to handle by boat/trailer weight? Thanks.

I reached out to Ark Corportation and they confirmed that you can use either the Extreme Off-Road Swing-Up Trailer Jack w/ Dual Wheels # ORJW750D or Extreme Off-Road Ratcheting Trailer Jack w/ Dual Wheels # ARK54FR to launch your sailboat and trailer down your boat ramp with a winch. Both jacks would be able to withstand the weight as I do not see your boat trailer exceeding 1,100lbs of tongue weight.
