Can SmartPlug RV Power Inlet SM97FR Attach to Round Surface

Hello - Im considering replacing the Furrion 30 amp power inlet on my Summit camper van with a SmartPlug Item # SM97FR. Where my current plug is installed on the outside of my Transit van theres a slight curve in the body, top to bottom. Will this create a problem for the SmartPlug install? Thanks -

The mounting flange of the SmartPlug RV Power Inlet # SM97FR is flat which means it was designed to mount to a flat surface. To accommodate the roundness of where you plan to mount this you could use washers to take up the extra space.

Hi Michael; the distance between all of the SmartPlug RV Power Inlet #SM97FR mounting holes is 2.44" on center. I went ahead and attached the mounting hole template below for your reference.

I spoke with the manufacturer of the SmartPlug RV and Marine Power Inlet and Connector #SM67FR and for your application they actually recommend using 6 AWG wire to properly supply your RV with power from the shore power pedestal.
