Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at the SmartPlug RV or marine data port inlet and this is constructed of stainless steel. Now, if you use SmartPlug to power your ride, then this data port is going to match your setup while giving you the same weatherproof protection. The unique combination of a blank and open port is gonna let you customize your connectivity setup. The data port inlet comes with one blank insert and one open port so you can customize your RV or boat's connectivity options. This is going to be compatible with HDMI, coaxial, Ethernet, USB and USB snap-in connectors, and of course those are sold separately.
This is going to install into a standard sized cutout and it seals with the included adhesive back foam mounting gasket. So what's nice about that is there's not gonna be any messy caulking. This is going to install with your existing screws. No hardware is included with this, just so you're aware of that. And the foam gasket that you see right in here is going to create a weatherproof seal when you have this closed just like that.
Again, this is stainless steel. It is made here in the USA of UV resistant IP56 rated materials. And this is going to hold up really well for you in extreme climates or out in the water. And again, that stainless steel is marine grade, so that's gonna do a great job of resisting corrosion. And this is going to hold up really well for you season after season.
Instructions are also included, and we do have other options of this same port available here from SmartPlug. You can get it in plastic and different colors of plastic as well. So if the stainless steel option isn't something that you're looking for, check out the other options that we have here of this port. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Received the package today everything looks great no issues with package
The plug is what I ordered and just what I needed, thank you.
It’s SmartPlug. The best.
The hole pattern was the same as my old plastic receptacle cover. Fits an Airstream camper.
Easy install and looks good. Am going to be getting Starlink soon and hope to use the blank for the Starlink Cat6 port.
Not Used because the Ethernet jack not compatible with Starlink.
Excellent product. Matches the Smart Plug shore power in appearance on the side of my Airstream
Much nicer than the original DIY through the existing RV, plastic inlet. Looks really sharp next to the identical SmartPlug power inlet. Been wanting one for a while now. Very durable and and won't lose it sheen.
Excellent product! Easy to install and has it's own seal. Very sturdy! Looked at the plastic version and decided to go this this one for longevity. We mounted it on our camper to run our Starlink cable from the dish to the camper and on the inside to the router. The ethernet adapter just snapped in to the port. We tested it before installing it and it worked perfectly. Now we have a clean set up for our Starlink. Quick and easy set up; no running cables thru the window or slide seals of the camper. Highly recommend.
Easy install, works as advertised.
Excellent quality. Exactly what I was looking for to connect my Starlink Gen 3
High quality products arrived in great condition and are exactly as described on the etrailer site.
The smart plug function just as advertised. Very happy with my purchase. I used the Keystone Single Jack Ethernet Connector for SmartPlug Data Item #SM38MJ with the plug. I mounted the starlink router and power supply inside the trailer. Now all I have to do is plug the starlink dish into the smart and starling works well. I also had to buy a short 6 foot CAT6 cable to plug into the back of the smart plug and the router. I also bought a 150' Starlink cable for when I need a longer run to get away from obstructions like trees. I also bought a CAT6 coupler that I can use with the original 50' Starlink cable and the new 150' cable allowing me to place the dish up to 200' away from the trailer. I tested the 200' run and it works fine.
I originally had a single coax adapter that was intended to be used for a tripod based satellite dish. I replaced it with this port. I have my gen 3 Starlink roof mounted with the Starlink fixed roof mount. Sometimes my spot is under a tree or when at home under a cover so the SL does not work. I can not remove the dish and tripod mount it and plug in at this new coax and Ethernet access port. I chose the chrome option. There is a black plastic one as well. If you need a weather proof Ethernet port for your rig this will fit the bill
Do you have a question about this Shore Power Inlet?

Sorry to hear that, Loren. Can I ask why it wasn't compatible though? We have had quite a few people say they used this specifically for Starlink.
