Question:

I plan on towing an R=Pod 171 gross weight max of 3840 lbs. w/ a Jeep Gladiator Max Tow rated to 7650 with a gross weight itself of approx. 6000 lbs, What is your recommendation for weight distribution hitch? Thanks, tg

For towing your R-Pod 171 trailer with your Jeep Gladiator I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Round item # FA94-00-0600. You want to select a weight distribution system based off of tongue weight which is typically 10% -15% of your trailer's total weight. Your trailer will have a maximum tongue weight between 380 lbs to just below 600 lbs. The e2 system has a tongue weight range of 400 lbs - 600 lbs which will be perfect for your trailer.
