Question:

Would the Timbren TGMRCK15S be the best to aid in towing with a 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss? We have a weight distribution hitch towing a 5300 lb travel trailer with a 7599 GVWR. Is there something better you would recommend?

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRCK15S is a solid choice when it comes to suspension enhancement but some people do complain that it stiffens the ride quality too much so because of this I recommend SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS45FR for your 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss instead. These have the same basic design but the cushioning is a bit more forgiving so the ride isn't as harsh.

I will say that normally a weight distribution system (WDS) should be able to handle the weight of a trailer without the need of a suspension enhancement system so I recommend making sure your WDS is rated properly for your application. You need to make sure the Tongue Weight (TW) range of your WDS is what your Total Tongue Weight (TTW) falls in the middle of. To find the TTW of your towing setup you will need to add the TW of your fully loaded and ready-to-go trailer, which you can use part # e99044 for, along with the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. Keep in mind that a properly loaded trailer will have a TW that is 10-15% of the loaded weight of your trailer.
