Air lift offers their basic LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57388 and the Ultimate Springs # AL88388 which fit your 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4. I would recommend installing the Ultimate system as they include the internal jounce bumpers inside the air springs. These greatly help to reduce bouncing when towing heavy loads and they can also work to protect the air springs from being pinched should you have a sudden deflation.

The Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL74000 will allow you to easily control the air pressure in the springs from the included remote. I prefer this system as it has a smart manifold to keep air pressure within 3psi of your original setting while you drive.

Bud. I appreciate your reasoning and recommendation of kit 88388 with the internal jounce bumpers over 57388 without the internal bumpers. I'm considering one of these kits for my 2024 GMC 1500 AT4 with the 3.0 diesel. I only tow a 20' bass boat a couple of times a week only during season which also includes about four weeks out of state on some long tows. The out of state trips also include pretty heavy loading of gear in the bed. I'll add that I am adding a BDS Zone 1.75' leveling kit to the front suspension system next week Right now I feel the ride of the rear factory system is a little too soft when towing or loaded or not. Having said that, with only the boat attached the rear squats to a level ride. Add gear to the bed and it probably loses another inch. My concern or reluctance for installing kit 88388 with internal bumpers is losing ride quality when not towing or unloaded. I wouldn't mind firming up the ride and control of the rear OEM suspension a bit but I don't want it to be stiff or harsh that I'm thinking the internal spring kit will do. I also don't want either kit to add the rake back in that I'm taking out with the leveling kit when not towing or loaded. So my question is, would I be better served for my wants and needs with the 57388 or 88388 kit? Also, neither of these kits show to include the heat shield that is recommended or needed to protect the bag on the passenger side, nor does either of these kits designate application for 3.0 diesel models. Is there a difference and does the shield need to be added to my order? I currently have kits F2609 (which I believe would require the addition of 2" spacers but includes the heat shield) and kits 57388 and 88388 (which do not include the heat shield) in my cart trying to decide. My apologies for the lengthy dissertation but I need a professional opinion and maybe some real life experiences from other customers on what I'm trying to achieve before I order. I have spoke to a couple of sales reps via the chat on eTrailer but it appeared they were just as confused as I am as to what I need. Ex: Telling me I need to add spacers to my order for the 57388 and 88388 kit. Thank You

@Skip I prefer the Firestone kits as their air bags are just a little better made. If you do go with Air Lift I would also recommend not going with the jounce bumper version. It basically doesn't really help and worst makes the ride quality harder to balance with support since the jounce bumper isn't adjustable. If you only add a lift to the front suspension you shouldn't need any spacers with the Firestone kit for the rear suspension as well.

@JamesonC Thank you for the recommendation. All roads lead back to the eTrailer website for the Firestone kit #F2609 which states it will fit a GMC Sierra AT4 but, the 2" spacers need to be added. FWIW the AT4 has a factory 2" lift. The F2609 also states it will not fit vehicles with diesel engines which I have. So. . . That brings me back to the AL57833 Air Lift kit (also on eTrailer website) which doesn't have a disclaimer either way with regards to needing spacers or, a reference to diesel or non diesel fitment. The installation photos for this kit do not show spacers being used and there and to me seems to be is a lot extra hardware required to mount the bags to the inside of the frame and the original perches instead of between the frame and the perches. Not sure I'm a fan of this installation so my quest continues. Thank You

@Skip I would actually highly recommend the RAS kit part # RAS54FR for suspension enhancement over any of the air bag kits. This provides the support you are wanting while also improving loaded and unloaded ride quality and handling unlike basically any other option so it's the best overall if you'd consider a non-air bag setup.
