Replacement Lift Gear and Motor for Ventline Model V2119

Question:

My powered vent Ventline Model V2119 will not stay closed. It flops up and down when the wind blows. I assume a gear has been stripped inside the motor. It looks like the replacement unit that I would need is: Item # V2119-601-00. My question is whether or not the motor is sold separately and does the motor have the gears inside that raise and lower the vent and hold it in place? Thanks!

If the lift motor on your Ventline # V2119-601-00 runs when you try to operate it then it sounds like you need the Replacement Plastic Gear # BVD0121-00 which operates the lift arm.

To replace the lift motor you need the Replacement Gear Motor with Pinion Gear # BVB0601-00.
