Question:

Im looking for a spare tire and I dont understand how to measure a spare rim.17-231 15×5 jj 2200lb is the sticker on the rim.Wnuch rim do I need?Its a silver powdered rim

The wheel you have is the Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel - 15" x 5" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - Silver Powder Coat # AM20436. This is a 15" wheel with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. It has a capacity of 2,150 lbs. The one thing I do not know based on this information is the tire size.

You will need to look at the side of your current tires to find out which size they are. More than likely you have a 205/75-15 or 225/75-15 tire. I recommend the Karrier ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D # AM10245 or the Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # AM10303 depending on what you have.
