Question:
I have this axle and its new. My question, I would like to change it over to electric brakes, do all the 3.5k axles use the same set of bearings and seals as a direct bolt on replacement? And, would I be able to use a non ez lube hub on an axle that uses an ez lube system? Thanks for your help.

I wouldn't want to say that all of the 3,500 lb axles use the same set of bearings and seals, but in general, most do. Still, it's important to verify the bearings and seals you have, but since you mentioned you have the 3,500 lb Dexter Trailer Axle Beam # 8327812-I, I can tell you exactly what hub and drum you need.
And you can indeed use a non E-Z lube hub and drum if you'd like, though I'll go ahead and list out both options for you just to be thorough:
- E-Z Lube Hub & Drum: Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3,500-lb E-Z Lube Axles # 84546UC3-EZ
- Standard Hub & Drum: Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3,500-lb Axles # 84546UC3
The axle has a 4-bolt brake mounting flange, so you can use standard electric brakes that fit those hubs, the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting # AKEBRK-35-SA.
These brakes will also require the Mounting Hardware for 10" Brake Assemblies # BRKH10B.
