Can You Use Stabilizer Jacks Without Having To Mount Or Weld Them To The RV Frame
Published 03/11/2022 >
Question:
I have a 1970 vintage Aristocrat Lo-Liner camper trailer. There isn’t enough clearance to bold stabilizer jacks to the frame when traveling over uneven roads. Can I use stabilizer jacks without mounting to frame, and if not, what would you recommend ? Thanks,

Great question.
The Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks - 24" Lift - 6,500 lbs - Qty 2 # UF48-979002 are just under 5 inches tall when they are fully compressed. So you should be able to squeeze them in.
To directly answer your question. Yes you can use them without bolting or welding them to the frame. They are still going to support and stabilize the unit. Just remember they are not attached and forget them on the ground!
