Size of Mounting Hole for TecNiq LED Boat Docking Lights

Question:

Hi, How big is the hole that is to be drilled for this light? Is it a circle hole or an oval hole ? The picture looks like it is some weird oval hole at an angle to the boat, but that seems misleading? Thanks

The hole for the LED Boat Docking Lights - Recessed Mount - Waterproof - 12V/24V - Qty 2 # TN83ZR is an oval shape. The hole is 4.25" x 2.3" and you will be able to use the gasket as a template to cut the hull.

I have attached a dimensional drawing which shows the gasket and housing measurements for your reference.
