Question:

I have a 42 ft Salem Hemisphere fifth wheel with the electric 6 point One Control ground control 3.0 leveling system by Lippert. When we arrived to one of our stops initially one front jack would not extend. We had this happen once before and had found that time that something in the storage area had knocked one of the fuses. That time removing and replacing the fuse fixed the issue. This time checking the fuses and making sure they were properly in place did not work and the next attempt to lower the jacks resulted in neither front jack working and the front panel led blinking red. We manually lowered the jacks with a drill nut driver on the bottom of the motors so we could disconnect. We then determined that trying to do anything manually on the inside touch screen resulted in jack faults regardless of which jacks we were attempting raise/lower. I did have a service guy take a look at our next stop. He rechecked the fuses and all wiring connections and voltages which all appeared fine. However he did discover a very loose ground connection to one of the batteries which he then fixed but was unable to determine any other issues. I am thinking that maybe during the jostling and bumping around during travel that maybe that loose ground caused a voltage issue to the controller during travel and damaged the controller somehow. Do you think the controller is likely damaged and needs to be replaced or is there something else I should be checking?

It does sound like the Control Module # LC304136 for the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System # LC675817 is the issue on your Salem Hemisphere. Since you have confirmed all the fuses and voltages are correct on the system then there are no loose connectors the control module is the likely culprit.
