This hub and drum assembly has a 12-1/4" x 4-1/2" drum and works with any 8,000 lb 12-1/4" brake assembly.

Yes, if you were to look at the trailer the same as a vehicle, the right hand side is the passenger side and left hand side is the drivers side.
