Have an older Thule Evolution 1800 that i want to convert for use for aeroblade bars. Utilizing TH05401 and TH05738 it should be possible - with what little information is available. Can the fitment be confirmed?

The Replacement Quick Grip Mount Assembly # TH05738 is not designed to fit your older Thule Evolution 1800 without modification. This can also compromise the structural integrity of your box, however if you're okay with that you'll also need the Replacement Thule AcuTight Cradle for Thule Roof Mounted Cargo Boxes # TH8523387001 for each cradle.
However, if you do not want to make any modifcations, you can use with the Replacement EasySnap Mounting Kit for Thule Cargo Boxes # TH05820. This will retrofit your older Thule Evolution 1800 cargo box to the Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack, like you mentioned.
